Recipes from people who cook.
Discover is a short list of recipes from food creators we have a written agreement with. If you make recipes, this page says how you get in, the ways to work with us, and exactly what you agree to.
What Discover is
Discover is a tab in the app. It holds a small list of recipes from food creators we work with, each one shared with their permission. You can browse it, open a creator and see their other recipes, and save a recipe to your own recipes. It is free to browse and free to save.
How a creator gets in
By invitation and a written agreement, one per creator. It is permission based: nothing is shown until you have signed, and nothing is shown that is not on your list.
- The agreement names exactly what we show: your display name and handle, a link to your page, the recipe text, and a dish photo of your own with no people in it.
- We show it in one place, the Discover tab, unless you say yes in writing to somewhere else.
- It is not exclusive. Share your recipes anywhere else you like.
- You can ask us to take any recipe, or all of you, out of Discover at any time.
- Copies people already saved stay on their own phones, for their own use, with your name and link.
What creators get
- Your name and a link back to you on every recipe page, shown as “By your name on your platform”, with a “See the original” link to your own post.
- Credit and a link on every copy a person saves, so your name travels with the recipe.
- Your recipes in front of working parents who are planning dinner, saved into their own recipes where they can cook them.
Ways to work with us
Partner
Free Pro for a year, for you. In return you share sponsored posts about the app on your socials. We agree the number and timing together, and each post is clearly marked as a paid partnership.
Featured
Pay to have a recipe featured in the app, labelled “Ad”, by the week or the month. Featured in Discover is $4.99 a week or $14.99 a month. Recipe of the week is $9.99 a week. Featured placements are paid through the App Store, as an in-app purchase. Opening soon.
Both start from the same place: being in Discover by agreement, with your credit and link always shown, and removal any time. That part is free.

Questions creators ask
Does it cost anything to be in Discover?
No. Being in Discover by agreement is free, and so is the credit and link back on every recipe. Partner and Featured are optional ways to work with us, and they are described above.
What do I get as a partner?
A year of Dinnertime Pro, free, for you. In return you share sponsored posts about the app on your own socials. Each post is clearly marked as a paid partnership.
How are the posts agreed?
We agree the number and the timing together, and it is written in your agreement before you sign.
How does paid featuring work?
You pick a placement and a recipe of yours. We read it first, and you pay only if we approve it. Featured in Discover is $4.99 a week or $14.99 a month. Recipe of the week is $9.99 a week. Featured placements are paid through the App Store, as an in-app purchase. Every featured recipe is labelled "Ad", and anyone can report it. We do not count views or taps, so there are no numbers to send you. Featuring is opening soon.
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. The agreement is not exclusive: you can share your recipes and photos anywhere else. We show only what is listed on the schedule you sign.
How fast can I leave?
Any time. Email us and the recipe, or all of you, comes out of the Discover list in the app. The agreement states how fast. Copies people already saved stay on their own phones for their own use, still showing your name and your link, because we cannot reach into someone's phone to delete them.
What can people do with my recipe?
They can read it, open your page and the original post, and save a copy to their own recipes for use at home. Every saved copy keeps your name and a link back. They cannot resell it or post it as their own through the app, and we do not edit your steps or change the dish.
Can anyone apply?
You can send an application whenever you like, and we read each one. For now we add creators by invitation and a written agreement, and nothing is shown until you have signed.
Still have a question? Support is a person, the same one who builds the app.
